At Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum we seek to tell the stories of veterans of all American conflicts. This October join us for Voices of Vietnam a three evening speaker series highlighting three Vietnam veterans and their unique stories.

Rob was drafted into the Army in Sept 1967 and attended basic training and Advanced Infantry School at Ft. Lewis and then went to Ft Benning GA for basic Airborne School, served with the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, and attended Sniper School. In late 1968 he volunteered to go to Vietnam and was assigned to Alpha Co. 2nd Bat, 503 Inf 173rd Airborne Brigade (Separate). Rob served as a paratrooper with the only U.S. Airborne Infantry in Vietnam. Everything that he owned he carried on his back in a rucksack - that was called home. His job was to help search out the enemy and destroy them while they searched for him.

Doors open at 6:30 PM each evening. Talks begin at 7:00 PM.
