M-48 Cut Away Tank Unveiling Event

On Thursday, May 16 from 6pm-10pm FHCAM will be unveiling an M48 tank that has been cut in half! Have you ever wondered what a tank looks like on the inside? Walk through the center of this magnificent piece of machinery to find out! This cutaway tank is the only example of its kind in the western hemisphere and you won’t want to miss your first chance to see it here at this special unveiling event.  During this event the museum will be hosting four presenters to talk about the technical details of the M48, what it is like to restore and work on tanks, and give you a brief history of the tank in wartime.
