ADMISSION TICKETS AND INFORMATION

GENERAL  ADMISSION PRICING

General Admission tickets are valid during normal operating hours and include access to the published schedule of activities offered at FHCAM unless otherwise noted. Docent tours can also be arranged at no additional cost. 

  • Regular Admission Ticket: $25
  • Discount Admission Ticket: $18
    Available for youth (7-18), students, military/veteran, and seniors (65+) with valid ID presented at time of entry; next-day return visitors with proof of purchase.
  • Child Admission Ticket: Free Under 7. One adult is required for every five children under 14.
  • Family Admission Ticket: $75
    Admits 5 total: 1-2 adults, 3-4 youth. Also available as a Library Pass; free for Seattle Public Library card holders

Title I School Groups over 50 in party: $4.50 per person

 

Group visits are available during normal public hours and may also be scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when the museum is not open to the public. Groups wishing to visit on Tuesdays and Wednesdays must schedule and pay in advance. Docents are available to accompany groups at no additional charge and tour content can be tailored to the groups specific interests. Contact Guest Services to coordinate a date/time and make payment arrangements at info@flyingheritage.org. 

 

 

SPECIAL EVENT PRICING

Only required for events designated as special events. Prices vary by event. Tickets include general admission to the museum on the published day of event or activity. Limited quantities available as noted. Other requirements or limitations may apply; see event information flyer for details.

SPECIAL EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

 

There are no onsite restaurants or concessions. A limited selection of packaged food and beverages are available for purchase in the Gift Shop. Guests may eat onsite in designated outdoor areas as weather permits, or at the Veterans Community Table inside Charlie Hangar. 

 

FHCAM is an ADA accessible facility. A limited number of wheelchairs are available at Guest Services for visitor use on a first come, first served basis.

 

All tickets are single-use and are verified upon entry. Ticket sales are final. Attendance implies agreement with Visitor Policies.

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES

 

 

Participation is first come, first served and may be limited depending on attendance volume. Activity schedule is subject to change based on weather and other factors. Items noted as Special Events require purchase of Special Event ticket.

EVENT & ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONS

Walking Tours (90-120 min): Docent-led tours focused on predetermined topics as indicated on the activity schedule; involve walking/standing in hangars.

 

Behind the Barriers Tours (60-90 min): Docent-led tours offering guests the opportunity to get closer to a particular artifact or set of artifacts by going behind the rope barriers for an up-close look at the subject matter. 

 

Lectures (60-90 min): Held in Battlefront Theater, offering guests a chance to sit and learn through instruction and audio/visual displays. They are mostly static, though may include some time in the hangars looking at artifacts. 

 

Engine Runups (30-45 min): Observe this key component of the annual aircraft maintenance cycle, including startup and taxi of each aircraft involved, followed by a post-runup Q&A with the mechanics. 

 

Artifact Experiences: Provides an opportunity to “experience” a specific artifact by sitting in, touching or looking into a section that is normally not available for public access. 

 

Virtual Reality (VR) and Simulator Experiences: Provides an opportunity to experience an artifact-themed topic through a set of virtual reality glasses or computer-based simulator. 

 

All Docent-led tours start at the Docent Headquarters located in Alpha Hangar.

We are located at Seattle Paine Field: 3407 109th Street SW, Everett, WA 98204.

 

HOW TO GET HERE

 

Northbound I-5: Take the 128th Street exit (Exit 186). Turn left on 128th Street, which will become Airport Road at the intersection of 128th and Hwy 99. Continue on Airport Road, and turn left at 112th Street SW. Turn right onto 30th Street W. Turn slightly left onto 109th Street SW, and follow signs to FHCAM.

 

Southbound I-5: Take the Mukilteo/Paine Field exit (Exit 189), and go west on 526. Take the Airport Road/Paine Field exit from 526. Follow Airport Road until you come to 112th Street SW. Turn right onto 112th Street SW. Turn right onto 30th Street W. Turn slightly left onto 109th Street SW, and follow signs to FHCAM. Free parking is available in the lot just outside/adjacent to the hangar facility.

 

Flying to FHCAM: Visitors flying to Seatle Paine Field on private aircraft will be directed to the FBO upon arrival. For additional information on services offered at the FBO, please contact Propeller Aero Services.
