What was the best tank of World War II?
THURSDAY - MAY 24, 2018, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM       < Back to Events

As we rush headlong towards Tankfest Northwest, FHCAM’s largest event of the year, join FHCAM as we host one of the most preeminent researchers and historians on armored warfare – Steve Zaloga. Steve has authored or co-authored over 100+ books and if you have a tank history book in your library from the last 20 years there is a good chance that he wrote it.

We are proud to have Steve for two evenings – Wednesday May 23rd and Thursday May 24th. On May 23rd he will be discussing “The Sherman Tank: Death Trap or War Winner?” - based on his book “Armored Thunderbolt: The U.S. Army Sherman in World War II.” The next evening Steve will give us his perspective on “What was the best tank of World War II?” – based on his book “Armored Champion: The Top Tanks of World War II.” Both books will be available to purchase onsite at the FHCAM gift shop. Steve will be available to answer questions at the end of his presentations as well as sign copies of his books.

Doors Open: 6:30 PM for FHCAM Members / 7:00 PM for the General Public
