On June 6th 1944, The Allied Armies began their liberation of Northwest Europe. These amphibious landings are best known as D-Day. Join FHCAM Docent Richard Ulrich as he discusses the landings at Omaha Beach and the ferocious battle that took place that morning as the United States Army fought to gain a foothold on the Normandy coast of France.

Presented by Richard Ulrich, FHCAM Docent.

Richard is an FHCAM Docent and is a member of a team that recreate paratrooper-style jumps over the Normandy battlefield. Join us to learn about the fascinating details of this milestone in American military history.

Admission to the presentation is $5 in addition to standard museum admission.
